The record

Built to stay,
not just to launch.

Most of our work is keeping sites running after launch. These numbers are about staying, not launching.

Hosting vs care

Your host backs things up.
That is not the same job.

Kinsta and WP Engine can now update plugins and compare screenshots. That helps. Here is what it leaves undone.

What we commit to

Four terms on every plan,
whatever its size.

Reply times are on each plan above. A reply means a person has read your request and told you the next step, not a fix time.

Care plan terms· no minimum term

30 days notice

  1. Updates run on a copy first

Every plan, every run. If a release breaks something, it breaks on staging, not in front of visitors.

  2. The restore gets proved

We restore your backup to a sandbox on schedule and record the date it last worked.

  3. Accessibility does not slip

After every run we check key paths against WCAG 2.1 AA, so an update cannot break them quietly.

  4. You keep the keys

Hosting, domain and licenses stay in your name. Leaving costs 30 days of notice, nothing else.

Onboarding

The first 48 hours,
step by step.

Most sites we take on were built by someone else. Our first job is not to tell you what they did wrong.

First 48 hours, then monthly

48 hours
From access to a proved copy
1 report
Written to be forwarded, not decoded
  • What moved, what we checked and what we fixed, with the minutes each fix took.
  • Plus one short list of what we would do next. Often it is a plugin to retire.
  1. You, 15 minutes

    Access

Admin, hosting and DNS. Read-only access is fine until you are comfortable.

  2. Us, day one

    Inventory

Every plugin, theme, license and scheduled task written down. You keep the list.

  3. Us, day one

    A proved copy

Staging set up and a full restore done before anything changes.

  4. Together, day two

    The first run

Updates applied lowest risk first, with your key paths checked in between.

  5. Us, from then on

    The schedule starts

Your plan starts on that date, so the first month is a full month.

For agencies

    No setup fee

No logo on the report and no name in the ticket. Your client never learns ours.

  • Partner pricing from your third site

  • One named engineer in your Slack

One person who knows your portfolio, with named cover for holidays.

Care plans exist because WordPress hands you other people’s code to keep current. Platforms that do this for you need changes, not upkeep.

FAQ

Questions before
the first invoice.

Short answers first. Ask anything else on the call.

How much does WordPress maintenance cost?

Our care plans cost €349, €499 or €599 a month, excl. VAT. Automated plans start at about $39. Plans with a named engineer usually cost $150 to $600.

Is unlimited really unlimited?

Requests are unlimited. Time is not. One at a time, 30 minutes each, no new development. Sites that push against that line belong on development capacity, and we will say so rather than let the queue grow quietly.

What counts as a small fix?

A price change, a new person on the about page, a form field, a broken link, a plugin setting, a PDF swap, a redirect. The test is the 30 minutes, not the category. Anything past it we quote before starting, at our base rate.

My host already does updates. Why pay twice?

Because applying a file and confirming the site still works are different jobs, and hosting only does the first. The table above puts the two side by side, row by row. If your host genuinely does both, keep your money.

Will you maintain a site you did not build?

Yes, and it is most of what we do. Sites come to us from agencies that closed, freelancers who moved on and in-house teams that changed. The inventory in the first 48 hours writes down what is there, and then we maintain it rather than quoting you a rebuild.

What happens if my site gets hacked anyway?

We take the site back to a restore we have already proved, find the entry point, close it and write up what happened.

Can I pause or cancel?

30 days notice, no minimum term, no exit fee. Hosting, domain and licenses are in your name the whole time, so leaving is an email rather than a migration.

Do you offer white-label maintenance for agencies?

Yes. The same plans, reply times and reports, under your name: no logo on the report and no name in the ticket. Partner pricing starts from your third site, and the rate card goes out by email.
