WordPress outsourcing

What is WordPress
development outsourcing?

An outside team builds and runs your WordPress site. You keep the code, the hosting and the final say.

We have built and maintained WordPress sites since 2014. Every project gets a project manager and a QA tester.

What you can outsource to us

Five kinds of WordPress work, one team:

  • WordPress web design, from wireframe to a Figma file you approve.
  • Custom WordPress themes on Crunch, our own framework.
  • WooCommerce stores, from product catalogue to checkout.
  • Headless WordPress with a fast Next.js or Astro front end.
  • Support and maintenance after launch, from €349 a month.

Why Acclaim

WordPress since 2014,
in one team.

Developers, designers, project managers and QA testers in Poland and the Philippines. Clients in the UK, the EU and the US.

Who it’s for

Built for teams
that ship, not hire.

Two kinds of team outsource WordPress to us. Agencies reselling our work have their own page.

  • B2B SaaS marketing teams

    Marketing sites

Your engineers stay on the product. We take the marketing site, landing pages and CMS work off their backlog.

  • E-commerce teams on WooCommerce

Your store needs steady work every month. We handle the theme, plugins, speed and checkout fixes.

  • Agencies reselling under your brand

White label has its own terms, rates and process. See white label web development for agencies.

Is it a fit?

Is outsourcing WordPress
right for you?

Most pages in this category say yes. Here is the honest version. If the right column sounds like you, we say so on the call.

Where you standOutsourcing works whenIt does not work when
What the site is to youSteady web work never reaches the top of the sprint. The site is the product. Then you need product engineers in-house.
Your engineersStrong on the product, lukewarm on WordPress. You need five or more of them. That is a dedicated team, and bigger firms do it better.
Your side of the tableOne person can review and approve the work.Nobody can approve. Outsourcing needs one owner, not a committee.
What you are buyingLanding pages that take three weeks and should take three days. The cheapest hour available. We are not that.

Ways to work

Three ways
to work with us.

Pick by how your work arrives. Most teams start with one month of capacity or one fixed-scope project.

  • Where most teams start

    Monthly capacity

A block of WordPress hours each month. You set the priorities.

    • 40, 60 or 80 hours a month, from €3,200.
    • One lead developer who knows your site, plus a PM and QA.
    • You add tasks in ClickUp and talk to us in Slack.
    • Every hour is logged in Toggl, so you see where it went.
    • Starts in five to ten working days.
    Start with one month
  • Fixed-scope project

One brief, one price, one date.

    • A new site, a redesign or a WooCommerce store.
    • A fixed price after scoping, which usually takes one week.
    • Sites start at €8,000. Stores start at €30,000.
    • Sixty days after launch to fix anything that misses the brief.
    Scope a project
  • Embedded developer

Our developer in your standups, your Jira and your sprint.

    • Your tech lead runs the work day to day.
    • Best when you have a process and need hands.
    • Works in your repositories, your tools and your hosting.
    • Starts in five to ten working days.

How it works

Five steps
from brief to launch.

Your project manager is your contact from the first call to the handoff.

Getting started

5–10 working days
From agreed scope to the first task
60 days
Guarantee on every build
  • You get one Slack channel and one ClickUp board. You see every task, its owner and its estimate.
  • We build with AI and review with people. A developer checks every line before it ships.
  1. Project manager

    Brief and scoping call

You tell us about the site, the hosting and your goals. We write down what is in scope and what is not.

  2. Project manager

    Proposal and price

You get a fixed price or a monthly plan in writing. Work starts once you agree.

  3. Project manager

    Setup in your tools

We join your Slack and ClickUp, or you join ours. You name one person who approves the work.

  4. WordPress developer

    Build and review

AI agents write the first draft. A developer reviews every line, tests it and owns the result.

  5. QA tester

    Test, launch, sixty days

We test on real devices, then launch. For sixty days we fix anything that misses the brief, at our cost.

AI and cost

Does AI make this cheaper,
and who gets the saving?

You do. We price capacity, not hours on a clock. When our tools get faster, you get more shipped for the same invoice.

  • The number

A marketing site that took us around 200 hours now takes around 100. Measured in our own Toggl data.

  • What AI does

Scaffolding, Figma conversion and the first QA pass. It writes the first draft of each template.

  • What people do

Every architecture and accessibility decision. A developer reviews every line and owns the result.

  • What the research says

In a 2025 METR trial, skilled developers were 19% slower with AI. So we measure our own work.

FAQ

Questions to ask
before outsourcing.

Short answers first. Ask us anything else on the call.

How much does it cost to outsource WordPress development?

Our base rate is €80 an hour. Monthly capacity starts at €3,200 for 40 hours. Fixed-scope sites start at €8,000. Prices exclude VAT.

Is outsourcing cheaper than hiring in-house?

Usually, when web work is steady but never urgent enough to reach the top of your sprint. A senior hire costs €90k to €140k a year, plus three to six months of recruitment. Monthly capacity starts at €3,200 and starts in five to ten working days. If the web is your product, hire in-house.

Who owns the code when we outsource?

You do, from the first commit. We work inside your repositories under your organisation, so ownership never transfers because it never left. You also hold hosting, DNS and CMS credentials throughout. If we part ways, nothing needs to be handed back.

Can you work in our repositories and hosting?

Yes. We work in your GitHub or GitLab, your Jira, ClickUp or Linear, your Slack and your hosting. We join your standups if you run them. Your team reviews our pull requests the same way they review each other's.

How fast can a WordPress developer start?

Monthly capacity and an embedded developer start in five to ten working days. Fixed-scope projects start after scoping, which usually takes one week. We confirm availability before quoting, so the start date you hear is the real one.

What happens if our developer leaves?

Two people at Acclaim know every project, and documentation is written during the build, not after it. Your code, docs and logins are already on your side, so nothing needs retrieving. Our longest client relationship has run for twelve years.

Are you an agency reselling under your brand?

No. We work for the company that owns the site, and you talk to the people doing the work. Agencies that resell our work under their own brand have a separate page, with its own terms, rates and process.

Where is our data processed? Do you sign a DPA?

Yes, we sign a DPA before work starts. Acclaim is a Polish company, so the contract and the DPA sit under EU law. Part of our team works in the Philippines. On request we list every sub-processor and where it is, so your DPO can assess the transfers.
